The L.E.A.D. Council at Parkview has chosen to do a “Giving Tree Challenge” . They have designed a slide show to tell you all about it! Students are to take their donations to their homeroom, whereas we will be having a challenge between homerooms to see who can donate the most items. Our L.E.A.D. Council has chosen to donate these items to the IMPACT Ankeny Pantry. IMPACT provides hundreds of Ankeny and rural Polk County residents with food and personal hygiene items every month. This is made possible partially by the community and the donations it makes. This is where we come in, just by donating a few items we can potentially make a huge positive impact on someone’s life. In light of the holiday spirit we want to give back to our community and we hope you do too!
